Handelsbanken: Lars Kahnlund new CEO of Stadshypotek

Lars Kahnlund has been appointed new Chief Executive of Stadshypotek
AB, Handelsbanken's mortgage institution. He will take up the
position beginning 1 July 2007.

Lars Kahnlund succeeds Frank Vang-Jensen, who will become the new
head of Handelsbanken's Regional Bank Denmark. Lars Kahnlund has been
a member of senior management at Handelsbanken since 2002. He comes
from a position as head of Handelsbanken's Regional Bank Stockholm
City.
