DSV Air & Sea Holding A/S sets up business in Dubai
DSV Air & Sea Holding (part of the DSV Group) has acquired 100% of the shares
of Active Freight Management LCC in Dubai, UAE.
Active Freight Management LCC was DSV's current co-operation partner in Dubai
prior to the acquisition. The company has a budgeted turnover of DKK 40 million
in 2007 and has 12 employees working at the location in Dubai. The company will
change its name to DSV Air & Sea LCC soonest possible. The parties have agreed
not to publish the acquisition price.
Dubai is the heart of transport and logistics in the Middle East and one of the
leading transit and distribution centres worldwide. The company is the DSV
Group's first investment in the region and we expect that it will show
significant growth in the years to come.
