Ratos' subsidiary GS-Hydro has signed an agreement to sell a property in Lindeberg, Kløfta, between Oslo and Gardermoen, Norway. The buyer is Lillehammer Industripark. The purchase price is NOK 51.5m. The sale generates a capital gain of approximately NOK 27m for GS-Hydro. GS-Hydro, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ratos, is a leading supplier of non-welded piping solutions. Its products are used primarily in the marine and offshore industries, as well as in other industries. The company's head office is located in Finland. The company reported an operating profit (EBITA) of SEK 86m in 2006 on sales of SEK 985m. The Lindeberg property has a total area of approximately 17,600 sq.m. and houses storage and offices. Following the sale, GS-Hydro will continue to occupy the building as a tenant. For GS-Hydro, the sale generates a capital gain of approximately NOK 27m, which will be reported in the 2007 half-year interim report. Ratos's ownership stake in GS-Hydro is 100%.
