COSTA MESA, Calif., June 5, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Emulex Corporation (NYSE:ELX) today announced its LightPulse(r) 4Gb/s LPe1105-FSC Dual Channel Host Bus Adapter (HBA) has been selected to provide SAN connectivity for the Fujitsu Siemens Computers PRIMERGY BX600 blade server platform, including the new Fujitsu Siemens Computers PRIMERGY BX620 S4 blade server.

Working with Fujitsu Siemens Computers, Emulex designed the 4Gb/s LPe1105-FSC HBA specifically for integration into the Fujitsu Siemens Computers PRIMERGY BX600 blade server platform. This complements the broad array of both PCI Express and PCI-X 4Gb/s Emulex HBAs that are currently supported and available now from Fujitsu Siemens Computers. The scalability inherent to the Fujitsu Siemens Computers blade server platforms, coupled with Emulex SAN connectivity, enables customers to gain the benefits of high performance and maximum redundancy in a SAN storage infrastructure that requires minimum rack space, power consumption and cabling effort.
