About the Author

In 1985, Pain and Stress Consultant Judy Leighton, based on some of her previous discoveries, designed a new stress-reduction methodology to quickly recognize and release interwoven mental/emotional traps (double binds). The method was soon recognized, and since 1987 with Dr. David Baron, psychiatrist, as consultant, she began demonstrating the method at Medical Centers, and presenting Public Seminars. Dr. Baron is Professor and Chair, Department of Psychiatry at Temple University Medical School, Philadelphia. Over 13 years, as guest consultant, Judy's method benefited people having cancer, heart disease, diabetes, multiple sclerosis, arthritis, other connective tissue diseases, AIDS, Parkinson's Disease, attempted suicides, physical and sex abuse, eating disorders, smoking, drug and alcohol abuse, and learning disabilities.
