SAN DIEGO, June 7, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Coronado Biosciences, Inc., a fast growing biopharmaceutical company developing next-generation therapies for cancer, today announced that Raymond Tesi, M.D., F.A.C.S. has joined Coronado Biosciences as its President and Chief Executive Officer.
Dr. Tesi joins Coronado Biosciences from Cellerant Therapeutics, Inc. where he held the position of Executive Vice President of clinical development leading the development of biologic therapies for cancer treatment and cancer support. Dr. Tesi also previously held senior positions at Sangstat Medical Corporation that included responsibilities within Medical Affairs, Business Development, Marketing, and Investor Relations. He holds a B.S. degree from Utah State University, M.D. degree from Washington University School of Medicine, and is a Board Certified surgeon by the American Board of Surgery.
