Composition of the OMXI15 Index for the Period 1 July 2007 to 31 December 2007
The new portfolio for the OMXI15 index has been selected for the period 1 July
2007 to 31 December 2007. The portfolio has changed considerably since the last
selection. Three new companies will enter the OMXI15 portfolio, Exista hf,
Icelandair Group hf and Teymi hf, while four companies will exit the index, 365
hf, Alfesca hf, Atlantic Petroleum P/F and Marel hf. The index will thus be
comprised of 14 companies in the coming period. The reason why fewer than 15
companies are selected is that even though 365 hf. meets all the turnover
requirements, its free float adjusted market value is not high enough to
warrant an inclusion.
Selection for the OMXI15 index is based on trading data during the period 1
June 2006 to 31 May 2007. Free-float adjustment is based on a list of the ten
largest shareholders in each company at the end of this period.
