Hexagon prepares listing of Hexagon Polymers

Hexagon's Board of Directors has decided to propose its shareholders a separate
listing of the business area Hexagon Polymers on The Nordic Exchange. The
listing is planned for the first half of 2008.

Over the years Polymers has transformed from a local Nordic player to a
fast-growing group of companies with production facilities across four
continents. Polymers is today the world-leader for speciality rubber compounds
and gaskets for plate heat exchangers and also one of the leading players in the
global market for plastic and rubber wheels.

profitability that makes the business attractive on its own merits. A separate
listing will enable Polymers to continue to grow aggressively through new
