Technopolis Plc will extend its technology center located at Kontinkangas in Oulu. The company will commence construction of a new stage of the center this August. According to plans, the new stage will be available to customers in August 2008. More than 50 % of the premises of the stage now to be constructed have already been leased out. These include TietoEnator Corporation, an existing tenant at the Kontinkangas technology center. Other companies operating in the center will include Ixonos Plc, Hantro Products Ltd and at Medipolis Medici Data Oy. The area is situated quite near the Oulu city center and is easily accessible to traffic. It also offers companies extremely good visibility. The neighbors of Technopolis in the area include the Oulu University Hospital, the Oulu City Hospital, Rehapolis and Nokia's Peltola facilities.
