Energy Conservation Technologies, Inc. Appoints Five New Directors to Board


BOULDER, Colo., June 13, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Energy Conservation Technologies, Inc. (ECTI) (Pink Sheets:ENYC), a landmark technology company, announces the expansion of its Board of Directors to seven members. Five new members will be officially appointed to its Board on July 1, 2007.

Peter Van Dorn is retired after 37 years as a Certified Public Accountant. He presently serves as CFO and Director of Digital Info Security Company, Westminster, Colorado. He is also on the Boards of Lightning Eliminators & Consultants, Inc., and various not-for-profit organizations.

John Knapp has 35 years of experience in institutional and educational planning, architectural design, and development. He was previously with Klipp Architects for civic and institutional clients in Colorado and Wyoming. John also managed facilities development for the State of Colorado and directed facilities planning statewide prior to establishing a private practice.

George Van Dorn has over 35 years of experience in manufacturing, quality control, marketing and customer service. He has held top management positions as well as direct line responsibilities for all areas of high tech manufacturing operations for Fortune 500 and start up companies.

Ron Brambila is a well-known businessman, entrepreneur and community activist for over 30 years in Boulder, Colorado. In addition he has held positions as manufacturing and human services planner for various companies.

Bill Tolch is currently a magnetic components design consultant. He was President of Western Magnetics Corporation in Longmont, Colorado from 1987 to 1999. He has held other positions in magnetics design, sales and marketing, and construction management.

In addition to these five new Directors, Jay Lutsky, who served as President of ECTI until April, 2007, will continue as a Director. His associations with private and public companies expand over two decades that involve funding, management, mergers and acquisitions.
