Innospec Announces 2-for-1 Stock Split


NEWARK, Del., June 18, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Innospec Inc. (Nasdaq:IOSP) today announced that its Board of Directors has approved a 2-for-1 stock split to be effected in the form of a 100 percent stock dividend. Shareholders of record as of July 6, 2007 will receive one additional share of Innospec Inc. common stock for every share they own on that date. The shares will be distributed on or about July 20, 2007.

As of today, there are approximately 12.1 million shares of Innospec Inc. common stock issued and outstanding. After the split, there will be approximately 24.2 million shares outstanding. Shareholders will not need to exchange existing stock certificates, and will receive a Direct Registration Statement at the time of the split, reflecting the newly issued shares.
