Ruukki Group Plc has applied for 20,000 new shares to be listed on the Helsinki Stock Exchange, in OMX Nordic Exchange's so-called small cap list. The new shares are issued due to conversion of subordinated convertible bond notes into shares. The 20,000 shares have been registered with the Trade Register on 19 June 2007. After the registration Ruukki Group Plc's share capital is EUR 23,642,049.60 and the total number of shares is 140,234,022. The issued new shares will be traded on the OMX Nordic Exchange as of 20 June 2007. After the abovementioned conversion, Ruukki Group Plc's subordinated convertible bond, which was issued in 2004, has been fully converted to Ruukki Group Plc shares. The Finnish Financial Supervision has previously granted Ruukki Group a permit not to disclose a separate prospectus in relation to the issue and trading of these new shares.
