Fuller Named Executive Vice President of Sysco Food Services of Austin


HOUSTON, June 20, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- SYSCO Corporation (NYSE:SYY), North America's largest foodservice marketer and distributor, announced today that Michael A. Fuller has been promoted to executive vice president of Sysco Food Services of Austin, LP effective July 1, 2007. Currently, he serves as senior vice president of sales for Sysco Food Services of Oklahoma.

Mr. Fuller, 53, joined SYSCO's Dallas subsidiary in 1976 as a marketing associate, following his graduation from Baylor University with a BBA in 1976. He advanced through various positions, including district sales manager, regional sales manager, regional vice president, vice president of business development and vice president of business development and healthcare until 2000, when he transferred to the Austin, TX operation as regional vice president. The following year, he moved to Oklahoma as vice president of sales and in 2006 was promoted to his current position.

Mr. Fuller is a native of Paris, TX and was raised in Waco, TX. He and his wife Pamela have two adult children and will be relocating to Round Rock, TX in the near future.
