HKScan Oyj STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE 20 June 2007, at 11am AMENDMENT TO PREVIOUS NOTIFICATION ON CHANGE IN OWNERSHIP Under Chapter 2, Section 9 of the Finnish Securities Markets Act, we hereby announce that HKScan Oyj has received the following disclosure about change in ownership. On December 4, 2006, Julius Baer International Equity Fund notified that as a result of a share transaction concluded November 28, 2006, its holding had exceeded five (5) per cent of the share capital of HKScan Oyj. It has subsequently emerged that the above notification has mistakenly been interpreted to mean that the holding of Julius Baer Investment Management LLC in HKScan Oyj would have exceeded ten (10) per cent of the share capital of HKScan Oyj while such holding, in fact, has been (and continues to be) below ten (10) per cent of the share capital of HKScan Oyj. The owner wishes to clarify the above notification as follows: 1. Name of the target company: HKScan Oyj, Business Identity Code 0111425-3. 2. Date of change in holdings: November 28, 2006. 3. Exact proportion of voting rights and share capital in HKScan Oyj: Julius Baer International Equity Fund's (managed by Julius Baer Investment Management LLC) current holding in HKScan Oyj: - number of A shares: 2,014,597 - ownership: 5.13 % of share capital and 1.42 % of voting rights In addition, the shares in HKScan Oyj currently held by Julius Baer Investment Management LLC, (the manager of the Julius Baer International Equity Fund) for its asset management clients are as follows: - number of A shares: 1,213,972 - ownership: 3.09 % of share capital and 0.86 % of voting rights The current combined holding of Julius Baer Investment Management LLC in HKScan Oyj (combining the shares (i) held by Julius Baer International Equity Fund (managed by Julius Baer Investment Management LLC) and (ii) held by Julius Baer Investment Management LLC for its asset management clients) is as follows: - number of A shares: 3,228,569 - ownership: 8.21 % of share capital and 2.28 % of voting rights The other entities belonging to the Julius Baer Group do not have holdings in HKScan Oyj.
