Analytic Innovations Launches Research Division for Advanced Analytics


CHICAGO, June 21, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Analytic Innovations, LLC, a leading provider of data-driven marketing solutions, has launched AI Research, a business unit focused on providing clients with advanced analytic solutions to complex business problems.

The new unit employs sophisticated analytic algorithms that go beyond traditional data segmentation and modeling techniques to solve difficult, large-scale business problems. AI Research's current focus is on projects that utilize advanced data mining techniques to extract customer preferences and product features from transaction history. Prior to joining Analytic Innovations in 1995, Wang was a statistical research assistant at the National Opinion Research Center. He worked with a research team on a national, multi-wave longitudinal survey of high schools, performing statistical analysis and developing explanatory models on academic achievement.

Wang earned a master's degree in sociology from the University of Chicago and a bachelor's degree in fluid dynamics from the University of Science and Technology of China. He is a member of the Association for Computing Machinery and American Marketing Association.
