City National Bank Launches Nevada Cash Management Department

Bank Also Names Nevada Manager and Sales Officer for New Department


LAS VEGAS, June 26, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- City National Bank today announced that it has further increased its growing presence in Nevada by establishing a fully staffed and highly trained Cash Management Department to sell and service the bank's award-winning products and services. The cash management area of the bank will work very closely with the branches and lending areas to provide clients with its innovative, high-tech capabilities that can help clients improve cash flow, reduce expenses, increase efficiency, reduce fraud, and much more.

The bank today also announced that it has named longtime banking professional and City National Bank colleague Corby White to head up this new department. White, who will be senior vice president and manager of the Nevada Cash Management Sales Department, will be located in northern Nevada and housed in the bank's Reno facility. White will report to Nadilee Russell, senior vice president and manager of Cash Management Administration for City National Bank.

Also joining the Nevada department will be Celeste Putt, vice president and Cash Management sales officer. Putt is a well-known and very experienced banker who joined the Bank nearly a year ago. She will be housed at the bank's full-service branch in North Las Vegas and responsible primarily for southern Nevada sales and servicing. Putt will report to White.

White joins the City National Bank team in Nevada following nearly nine years with the bank in California where he most recently worked for the Management Consulting Group as senior vice president and senior project manager. He also managed the Bank's Cash Management Product Department when he joined City National in 1998. Prior to joining City National, White worked for two years for Home Savings of America as a vice president and senior product manager. He began his banking career in 1990 with First Interstate Bank in California as a vice president and product manager. White is a graduate of California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Putt is a 21-year banking professional who joined City National's predecessor bank, Business Bank of Nevada, nearly a year ago as the branch relationship manager of its Cheyenne branch in North Las Vegas. She joined the bank from Nevada State Bank where she served as assistant vice president and cash management sales officer for 10 years. Putt's tenure in banking also includes working for U.S. Bank for seven years serving in a variety of positions, including corporate banking relationship/cash management sales officer, corporate branch manager, and corporate branch operations supervisor. She also worked for Nevada National Bank for three years as a branch operations assistant. Putt is a member of the Association of Financial Professionals (AFP), and is actively involved in various community programs and nonprofit organizations, such as Make-A-Wish Foundation, Salvation Army's Angel Tree Program and NASCAR Charities.
