DnB NOR's bid for Svensk Fastighetsförmedling accepted

100 per cent of the shareholders in Svensk Fastighetsförmedling AB have
accepted the bid presented by DnB NOR on 18 April this year. Thus, the
transaction will be completed, and the shares in Svensk Fastighetsförmedling AB
will be transferred to DnB NOR. Together, Svensk Fastighetsförmedling and DnB
NOR will become the largest real estate brokerage operation in the Nordic
region. 
 
Svensk Fastighetsförmedling is the leading and best known chain of real estate
brokers in Sweden. This year the chain is expected to sell some 30 000 homes,
which represents a market share of about 20 per cent. Operations include more
than 200 brokerage offices in Sweden. The bid does not entail any changes to
the ownership of each office. 
 
The DnB NOR Group is the largest market participant in Norway within real
estate broking. Total turnover this year is estimated at close to 22 000 homes.
