LAS CRUCES, N.M., June 28, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- The battle of Armageddon is waged on earth and humankind's last hope lies in the hands of New Mexicans Juan Luna and his friends. Will they win the fight against evil or is earth doomed forever? Read on and find out in the intriguing fantasy The Lodestone of Gila by author TEFRY.

In The Lodestone of Gila, a part of Southern New Mexico moved to Asgard, the realm of the Gods, to provide man the chance to combat evil on equal terms. A handful of New Mexicans, Juan Luna together with his friends, must search for the lodestone, which contains humanity's last hope against the forces of darkness. They find this to be a difficult journey as they encounter the Norse God Loki and his dirty tricks. Finally, as they reach the Garden of Eden to battle the four horsemen, Juan Luna realizes he must accomplish what Adam failed to do -- defeat the snake and save the world.

A very fascinating component of this book is how the author manages to incorporate the different mythical Gods into one story. Readers will find not only Gods from Norse mythology but also Greek and Roman and gods of other religions. People with imagination will love this unique fantasy intertwined with old myths and legends. Not only is this an entertaining read, readers will also gain insights on man's nature and his ability to defeat the evil in this world.
