Standard Parking Announces New Airport Division Contracts


CHICAGO, June 28, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Standard Parking Corporation (Nasdaq:STAN), one of the nation's leading providers of parking management services, announced that its Airport Division has recently been awarded several significant new contracts.

DFW Shuttle

Standard Parking has been awarded a multi-year contract to provide employee shuttle bus services at the Dallas/Ft.Worth International Airport. This large-scale, fixed route service will transport over 2.5 million passengers per year with a fleet of over 30 alternative fuel buses. The Company's Vice President of Transportation, Daniel Murray, stated, "We are excited by the opportunity to provide this very important service to the Airport's employees. The years of experience that we have acquired at DFW through our operation of the Airport's rental car shuttle bus service, coupled with our extensive knowledge of the Airport roadway system, will enable us to provide an excellent level of service to the Airport's employees." The employee shuttle operation is expected to commence in August of 2007.

Portland (Oregon) Shuttle and Valet

Standard Parking recently was awarded the contract to operate comprehensive shuttle bus services at the Portland International Airport (PDX). The operation, which will serve public long-term parking, employee parking and airside international transfers, is expected to transport over 2.6 million passengers per year, and will utilize a fleet of 30 transit-style alternative fuel buses. Standard Parking will transition the busing operation July 1, 2007.

In addition, the Airport has approved a contract for Standard Parking to provide premium valet parking services for Airport parkers. This new service, expected to begin in the Fall of 2007, will offer customers a fast and convenient alternative to traditional self-park methods. Standard Parking's Executive Vice President of its Airport Division, Jack Ricchiuto, explained, "As a leader in the industry, Standard Parking is delivering to its clients a broad range of landside services aligned under one operator. This approach allows us to create consistencies in the quality and delivery of service provided in a cost-efficient manner."

T. F. Green State Airport (Providence, RI)

The Rhode Island Airport Corporation (RIAC) has authorized the T. F. Green State Airport to enter into a contract with Standard Parking for the operation of the Airport's public parking facilities. The operation encompasses over 7,000 public parking spaces in two multi level garages and two surface lots. "We are very pleased to have the opportunity to serve the T. F. Green State Airport," said Pamela Brown, the Company's Vice President of Business Development. "We look forward to working with the Airport staff to enhance all aspects of the parking operation so that we may offer the Airport's patrons world-class customer service." Standard Parking expects to begin its operations at the Airport in late 2007 or early 2008.
