About the Author

Joseph Lawski/Longo, also known as "Joseph the Magician," was born and raised in Germany, where he lived from 1948-1960. He was thirteen years old when he moved to America. English is his second language. The author claims that if he can learn to speak English, so can anyone else. He arrived in America in 1960 in Columbus, GA and started to attended American school in the 8th grade. The author was very blessed to have been chosen by American Family Life Assurance president Mr. John Amos to operate their IBM 1401 computer in 1966, when he was only in the 9th grade. After he graduated from high school 1967 AFLAC sent him to Columbus Tech for an associate's degree in Computer Programming. Jospeph the Magician graduated in 1969 and held his position as an operator for about one year and then he was drafted into the Service (Viet Nam). He was honorably discharged from the Navy after a 4-year tour. Then he became a professional magician. In 1996, he found his biological Father on Father's Day, and this is what inspired him to write this comic book about his life.
