The Board of Ūkio bankas adopted the decision to increase the shareholding in AAB Ruskij karavaj by acquiring new issue shares

On 2 July 2007, the Board of Ūkio bankas decided to approve the decision of the
Bank's subsidiary UAB Turto valdymo strategija to acquire AAB Ruskij karavaj's
new issue of 14.5 million ordinary registered shares for the total of
58,000,000 roubles and in this way increase its shareholding up to 99.03 per
cent.
