Student Housing Full? Check Out The Flats

Open House Set for Student Community in Atlantic Station

ATLANTA, July 10, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Once again, student housing for at least one large Atlanta university is full well before the start of the academic year. But anxious parents and excited students can find a great solution at The Flats Collegiate Student Apartments in Atlantic Station.

"We're getting calls from students who have been accepted at Georgia State, but have nowhere to live," said The Flats property manager Avery Knight. "We're getting word out that we do have space for the upcoming school year."

The Flats are reinventing the student lifestyle. Instead of two people in a cramped traditional dorm room, each Flats resident has his or her own private bedroom, bath and built-in computer desk. Rent for the furnished apartments includes utilities, cable TV, high-speed Internet service and monitored intrusion alarms.

Families can see The Flats for themselves at an open house Saturday, July 14, 2007 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event will include food from restaurants in Atlantic Station including Atlantic Grille, Au Bon Pain, Boneheads and Cold Stone Creamery. Visitors can also register to win a Nintendo Wii, school supplies and $200 for books or tuition.

The community is located at 450 16th Street, across the street from IKEA. Rent starts at $750 per bedroom. For more information, call (404) 347-FLAT or visit www.liveattheflats.com.
