NEW YORK, July 10, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Mike Muraszko, a thirty-year veteran public relations and communications executive, has been named partner of New York-headquartered merger and management consulting firm StevensGouldPincus. He will be based in Los Angeles.
Muraszko, 52, has worked with StevensGouldPincus on numerous merger and acquisition assignments for public relations firm clients as senior associate since 2004. He will continue as president of his own Los Angeles corporate communications holding company, VantagePoint Strategies LLC.

Muraszko's prior management posts include a 17-year tenure with Publicis Groupe SA-owned PR firm Manning, Selvage & Lee from 1985 through 2002, where he served as deputy managing director of MS&L's Los Angeles office. He also held executive positions with major, independent public relations companies in Dallas, Houston, and Washington, DC. A past president of the Public Relations Society of America's (PRSA) Los Angeles chapter, Muraszko is a two-time recipient of the PRSA Silver Anvil Award for Public Affairs.
