Geveko has acquired the Polish roadmarking companies Technom and GIK. Technom and GIK hold about 20% market share in Poland, which gives Geveko a position on the market as one of the largest players within roadmarking contracting services. The companies have important strategic locations in Poland, Technom in Wloclawek in the middle of Poland and GIK in Rybnik near the Czech border. The turnover of Technom and GIK amounted to approximately SKr 46 million in 2006. The companies will be consolidated as from July 2007 and is expected to contribute positively to the result in 2007. Technom and GIK will be integrated in the Geveko subsidiary Cleanosol, which since establishing its subsidiary Cleanosol Polska in 2004 is one of the leading suppliers of road marking material in Poland."The acquisitions have high strategic importance.
