MetaPower International, Inc. Signs OEM Agreement With Actuate Corporation

LAS VEGAS, July 12, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- MetaPower International, Inc. (Pink Sheets:MTPW) announced today that it has renewed its Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) License Agreement with Actuate Corporation. The agreement provides MetaPower International, Inc. with the rights to continue to offer Actuate's products as the embedded report writer for applications developed within MetaPower's UCoDA software.

Actuate Corporation, the leader in Business Intelligence, Performance Management and Reporting Applications, enables organizations to develop solutions that optimize corporate performance. Applications built on Actuate's open source-based platform provide all stakeholders, including employees, customers, partners and citizens, with information that they can easily access and understand to maximize revenue, cut costs, improve customer satisfaction, streamline operations, create competitive advantage and make better decisions. Actuate has over 4,000 customers globally in a diverse range of business areas, including financial services and the public sector.

"UCoDA's ability to support the rapid development of applications requires a robust report capability. Actuate's latest release for Actuate Reporting iServer and iPortal on Windows Servers works well with the UCoDA 3.0 release. Their capabilities are particularly well suited to work with the Multiple Document Interface provided in the recent UCoDA 3.0 software. Multiple Document Interface allows the user to open history screens in new windows while still being able to review the report in a separate window," stated John Prouty, Vice-President of Product Development for MetaPower International, Inc.
