Nevada Gold to Delay 10-K Filing

Company Awaiting Financial Results From Joint Venture Partner


HOUSTON, July 13, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Nevada Gold & Casinos, Inc. (AMEX:UWN) today announced that it will delay the filing of its Form 10-K for the period ended April 29, 2007 beyond the filing deadline of July 13, 2007 because it is awaiting receipt of the audited financial statements of its joint venture partnership, Isle of Capri-Black Hawk, LLC. Upon receipt of these financial statements, the Company will incorporate the results into its Consolidated Financial Statements.

The Company intends to file its 2007 Form 10-K on or before July 30, 2007, and will therefore file with the Securities and Exchange Commission a Form 12b-25 Notification of Late Filing, and indicate that its 10-K filing is expected to be made within the 15-day grace period.
