Thor Noevig Will Head the Upcoming Company Hekla Energy GmbH is a subsidiary of Jardboranir (Iceland Drilling) which is the world-leading specialist in geothermal drilling. Thor Noevig will become head of the newly formed enterprise, Hekla Energy GmbH, as from September 1st 2007. During his 30-year-long professional career, Thor has been managing director for more than 15 years at ITAG Tiefbohr GmbH where he developed the company into one of the leading drilling contractors in Europe. Thor and his team developed new innovative designs for drilling rigs. Under his leadership the focus was always on the highest standards for HSE and QA.
