Bill Buker Joins First Horizon Small Business Services


BRAINTREE, Mass., July 16, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Bill L. Buker has joined First Horizon National Corporation (NYSE:FHN) as New England market manager for small business financial services.

Buker has 30 years of commercial banking experience, holding numerous sales management and executive leadership positions in banking in the Greater Boston area. He served as MetroWest regional president for Bank of Boston, providing leadership and strategic direction to all business lines and bank activities in Boston's western suburbs. Most recently, he has been president and CEO of a privately owned commercial bank that specialized in small business.

In addition to being a career banker in Boston, Buker is a life-long resident of the area. He has a thorough knowledge of the banking marketplace as well as the needs of small businesses. He also has been involved in a broad range of community and charitable organizations, most recently in an intensive after-school program working with middle school students at an inner-city school.
