Decision of the Supervisory Board - opening a branch in Lithuania


On July 17, 2007, the Supervisory Board of Balti Investeeringute Grupi Pank AS  
made a decision to open branch in Lithuania.                                   

The exact time schedule and other details of branch opening will be clarified   
after receiving the required approvals from the Central Bank of Lithuania.      
                                                                                
The aim of BIG is to open 4 offices in Lithuania within 2007; the offices will  
be located in Vilnius, Kaunas, and Klaipeda. According to the plans, activities 
of BIG's branch in Lithuania will be the same as in Estonia and Latvia: fast and
flexible small loans.
                                                           
BIG is the largest specialised bank in the Baltics focusing on loans to private 
individuals. BIG has 18 offices in Estonia and 12 offices in Latvia. The company
has more than 300 employees.
                                                  
The bonds of BIG are listed on Tallinn and Stockholm Stock Exchanges.
