AudioStocks.com Interviews Lantis Laser's President and CEO, Stan Baron

Lantis to Light Up the Future of Dentistry

DENVILLE, N.J., July 18, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Lantis Laser Inc. (Pink Sheets:LLSR) today announced AudioStocks.com has posted an exclusive interview with President and CEO Stan Baron on the http://www.Audiostocks.com website.

This special interview provides an in-depth discussion of the company's overview and recent developments. Mr. Baron discusses the company's collective corporate and capital structure, current executive management team and current facilities. The detailed interview covers additional topics including the company's Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) early detection dental system, a new diagnostic imaging technology that Lantis has exclusive rights for the field of dentistry. He also addresses the market for the technology.

OCT is a new, light-based imaging technology that is ideally suited for biomedical application due to its high resolution and small size image capture system. It has been commercialized for use in ophthalmology and cardiovascular imaging and applications research continues in many other areas. It is destined to become the 6th major imaging modality after x-ray, ultrasound, CT Scan, MRI and PET Scan. OCT, applied in dentistry, represents a major advance in dental diagnostics as it enables the capture of detailed characterization of hard tissue (teeth) and soft tissue (gums), at a resolution of up to 10 X that of currently used x-ray.

Current dental x-ray modality was first introduced into dentistry in 1885. While there have been improvements over the last 121 years, most recently the development of digital x-ray, the basic format and resolution of information captured has not advanced. X-ray has severe limitations in providing the images needed for early detection of diseases. OCT, by contrast, provides information that is needed to make early and accurate diagnosis of oral disease and, as it is light-based, does so without any harmful radiation.
