World Energy Solutions to Retrofit Hydrogen/Oxygen System in Diesel Truck Engine to Reduce Fuel Consumption

Company to Incorporate Its State-of-the-Art Technology in a 2007 Ford F-650

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., July 19, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- World Energy Solutions, Inc. (OTCBB:WEGY), a company focused on energy conservation technologies and environmental sustainability, today reported that it has begun retrofitting a new 2007 Ford F-650 with the Company's proprietary hydrogen/oxygen system to reduce the truck's fuel consumption and harmful emissions. World Energy Solutions (WES) has entered the diesel engine market to capture the strong commercial demand for the company's proven hydrogen/oxygen (HHO) powered internal combustion engine technology.

In a recent test, the company's initial test vehicle captured national headlines when it recorded a 24% reduction in gasoline usage. It is this HHO technology that will be incorporated into the Ford's 300 horsepower Caterpillar diesel engine. By systematically introducing hydrogen and oxygen into the fuel system of the F-650, the WES HHO system will reduce the diesel consumption necessary to power the truck.

Ben Croxton, CEO of World Energy Solutions, Inc. stated, "The diesel engine market is ripe for innovation and energy efficient technologies. By demonstrating our hydrogen/oxygen system's ability to reduce fuel consumption and emissions in a diesel engine, World Energy Solutions will be in a strong competitive position to entertain lucrative licensing and strategic partnership opportunities."

World Energy Solutions has been actively developing energy and fuel savings systems based upon its rights to the patents application, "Method and Apparatus for the Production of Hydrogen and Oxygen" (Patent Application # 20070089997). On June 11, 2007 World Energy Solutions reported that during a test run, after initializing the company's proprietary hydrogen/oxygen system, a 1998 Honda traveling at 60 MPH dropped its fuel flow from 2.1 GPH to 1.6 GPH. The unique feature of the hydrogen/oxygen powered (HHO) internal combustion engine is the reduced amount of gasoline required as the primary fuel source. HHO is environmentally friendly since, through its gasoline substitution and removal of exhaust gases, the technology of HHO addresses the rising costs of fuel and the heightened need for environmental responsibility.
