Artificial Life, Inc. Announces Innovative 3G Poker Game

HONG KONG, July 19, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Hong Kong based Artificial Life, Inc. (OTCBB:ALIF), a leading provider of award winning mobile 3G technology, games and applications, today announced the upcoming release of its first 3G Texas Hold'em poker game.

The 3G Texas Hold'em poker game is the first in a mobile casino series to be released by Artificial Life. Other mobile card and casino games will be released later to comprise a full array of casino games that will link online gaming with mobile phone gaming.

3G Texas Hold'em poker comes in single player and multi-player versions. Players can choose an avatar to represent themselves from a selection of customizable 3D animated models. During the game, players can trigger animated gestures for the avatar to perform such as shaking hands, raking in the poker chips, throwing cards down in protest, and so on.

Players can compete against others through a server connection or alternatively with those in close proximity using Bluetooth. 3G Texas Hold'em poker will even combine mobile gamers with online gamers who can compete at the same virtual table, thus dramatically expanding the playing pool. Fans of online poker games can now participate in online tournaments anywhere they are via their mobile phone.

3G Texas Hold'em poker allows players of various levels to join virtual tables based on their ability. Players of a higher rank will be allowed access to more exclusive tables to play against others with the highest ratings. The best players will be invited to compete in exclusive scheduled tournaments. When using 3G handsets, players may receive streaming videos as a reward that contains pointers about how to become a better poker player.

The game is scheduled for release in the fourth quarter of this year and will support most of the recent 3G handsets and many 2.5G handsets.

"Poker is becoming more and more popular around the world. Hence we have decided to add a sophisticated and highly animated poker game to our extensive 3G mobile game portfolio. The game is very appealing and has many new and innovative game features and will surely attract novices as well as experienced poker fans from around the globe," said Eberhard Schoneburg, CEO of Artificial Life, Inc.
