Entropic Communications Adds VP of Human Resources to Management Team


SAN DIEGO, July 23, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Entropic Communications, Inc., a leading technology solutions provider for connected home entertainment, today announced that Suzanne Zoumaras has joined the company as its vice president of human resources. Suzanne joins the company from Biosite Incorporated, which was recently acquired by Inverness Medical Innovations, where she was the vice president of worldwide human resources. In her new role at Entropic, Suzanne will lead the establishment of formal human resources business processes and practices and drive the company's employee relations, talent acquisition, compensation, coaching and performance management functions.

Suzanne has over 15 years of human resource and management experience in venture-backed start ups and fast-growing, multi-national organizations. At Biosite, Suzanne lead the transformation of the human resources function to improve delivery of HR services, practices and processes and to better manage employee relations and talent acquisition. Prior to Biosite, Suzanne held a variety of human resource positions at technology companies including Ensemble Communications, Conexant Systems and Cadence Design Systems.

Throughout her career, Suzanne has held board positions at a number of human resources organizations and non-profits and is a regular speaker on the topics of talent acquisition and employee engagement.

Suzanne earned her B.S. in Business Administration and her Human Resources Management certification from San Diego State University.
