ELEKTA Q1 REPORT, TELECONFERENCE AND QUIET PERIOD

Elekta will release its 3 months report for fiscal year 2007/08 as follows:

• Report: Tuesday, September 25, 2007, around 1 pm CET 

• Teleconference: Wednesday, September 26, 2007, at 3 pm CET

(Please note: due to the AGM on September 25, the teleconference will be held on
the following day!)

Call in numbers and webcast details will be announced a few weeks prior to the
teleconference or can be found on www.elekta.com/investors on the day of the
teleconference.

Quiet period

According to the Board of Directors' communication policy, Elekta shall observe
a “quiet period” in relation to the financial markets prior to each interim and
year-end report. The length of this quiet period should not be shorter than 30
days and not start earlier than the first day of the new quarter.

The quiet period means among other things that Elekta will decline any requests
for investor or analysts meetings. 

The quiet period in relation to the 3 months report for fiscal year 2007/08 will
start on August 20, 2007.

Due to earlier commitments, Elekta will present at the Goldman Sachs European
Medtech and Healthcare Services Conference in London on September 5. Slides from
this presentation will be distributed on request.

6 months report 2007/08

Elekta will release its 6 months report for the fiscal year 2007/08 on December
12, 2007, around 1 pm, with a teleconference at 3 pm on the same day.
