(www.openwave.com), the leading provider of independent software products and services for the communications industry, to deliver the LAM solution to the tier-one operator.
TechnoCom was selected by the operator as its location assurance technology partner because of the LAM solution's feature rich system for testing wireless location accuracy from the user's perspective. The LAM solution automates data collection, analysis and reporting of location information used for both enhanced (E9-1-1) and commercial location-based services. LAM enables operators to validate the availability and accuracy of E9-1-1 and location based service continuously across many locations. LAM provides true end-to-end emergency service network element testing, and push-button ad-hoc compliance report generation, such as OET-71, used by wireless operators to demonstrate compliance to the FCC's mandated E9-1-1 location accuracy requirements.
