8 August 2007 Announcement No. 17/2007 Cancellation of shares ---------------------- As published in its announcement No. 08/2007, at Topdanmark's AGM on 26 April 2007 it was decided to reduce the Company's share capital by 696,347 shares. It was also announced that on 27 April 2007 the reduction in capital would be reported to the Danish Commerce and Companies Agency and in practice, the cancellation of the shares would be effected on the expiry of the time limit for filing objections. On 27 July 2007 the time limit expired without any objections. Therefore, following Topdanmark's application for registration of the cancellation with the Danish Commerce and Companies Agency, the shares were finally cancelled today. Following the cancellation of these shares, Topdanmark's share capital will be DKK 184,519,000, equivalent to 18,451,900 shares. Topdanmark reduces its holding of own shares -------------------------------------------- Topdanmark now holds own shares representing 9.22% of the share capital as opposed to the 10.00% previously reported in announcement No. 13/2007 published on 20 June 2007. This is a reduction in the holding of own shares to 1,701,338 shares from the 1,914,825 previously reported. Topdanmark has at present bought back own shares for DKK 1,347m of the programme of DKK 1,800m for 2007 previously announced.
