Innospec Authorizes Accelerated Share Repurchases


NEWARK, Del., Aug. 10, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Innospec Inc. (Nasdaq:IOSP) today announced that its Board of Directors has authorized the accelerated repurchase of up to 250,000 shares of Innospec common stock under the $20 million share repurchase program which was announced in December 2006. So far in 2007, Innospec has repurchased approximately 300,000 shares under the program, at a cost of about $8.5 million.
