NCC to extend prison facility in Härnösand for SEK 600 M

NCC Construction has secured an assignment from Specialfastigheter Sverige AB to
extend the prison facility in Saltvik, north of Härnösand. The assignment is
valued at approximately SEK 600 M and will be carried out as a partnering
project.

Construction work will commence immediately and the facility is scheduled for
completion by the summer of 2009, enabling the prison to be taken into operation
in the late autumn of that year. The construction project will provide
employment for an average of some 100 persons.

Following expansion, Saltvik will have a total of 191 places.

Partnering is a structured form of cooperation in the construction sector, with
the developer, consultants and contractors working together to resolve the
construction task on the basis of open and trusting cooperation, in which all
parties' professional skills complement each other throughout all the stages of
the project.

NCC will include the project in order bookings for the third quarter of 2007.

On August 15, at 9:00 a.m., the symbolic groundbreaking ceremony will take place
in Saltvik.
