(the "Company") (Pink Sheets:BBCZ) (LSE:BODI) (website: www.bodisen.com) announced today that flooding due to a significant thunderstorm caused uninsured loss of product and raw materials at its facilities in Yangling. Preliminary estimates by the Company put those losses at up to 1.5 million USD.
The storm, which struck on August 8, caused massive flooding and power outages in many areas of Shaanxi province, was described in local press accounts as the worst in ten years. Despite heroic efforts by employees at both of the Company's Yangling facilities to limit damages, substantial loss was suffered. Despite this event, production continues at both facilities without significant disruption of operations after the storm passed.
