Lars Mydland to resign as Accountable Manager for Scandinavian Airlines

Lars Mydland has decided to resign as Accountable Manager for Scandinavian
Airlines and as head for Scandinavian Operations Management (SOM). Lars Mydland
has been manager of SOM since 2001 and came to SOM from a position as president
of SAS Flight Academy AB.

Deputy CEO John S. Dueholm, who is the person in SAS Group management
responsible for the Scandinavian Airlines business area, will take over
responsibility as Accountable Manager for Scandinavian Airlines.

“We have gone through a long, important and demanding period in recent years to
guarantee SAS's future. We are now starting en equally important period with
Strategy 2011. I feel that this is the right time for me to take on other
challenges. After consultation with Mats Jansson, I have therefore decided to
resign from my position effective on August 17. I wish to thank all my fantastic
colleagues and co-workers for many positive years and wish them all luck in
creating a financially stable and strong SAS,” says Lars Mydland.

“I wish to thank Lars Mydland for his valuable contributions to the SAS Group,
particularly in the area of flight safety in our operational organization, but
also in building up SAS Flight Academy to a leading-edge company in the area of
training for flight personnel,” says Mats Jansson, President and CEO of SAS.

John S. Dueholm comments: “Lars Mydland has provided a significant and dedicated
contribution to the successful restructuring that SAS has completed in recent
years. He has made the SOM organization more efficient and more focused in order
to enable it to handle the challenges ahead.”

Tomas Linden, who is currently Nominated Postholder Ground Operations within
SOM, has been appointed as the acting head of Scandinavian Operations
Management.

The above changes will take effect on August 17, 2007.
