Summary: The board of directors of Aresa A/S appoints Carsten Meier as interim
managing director of Aresa A/S 

The board of directors at Aresa A/S has appointed, Chief Scientific Officer
(CSO) and founder Mr. Carsten Meier as interim managing director of Aresa A/S.
As previously announced in First North announcements #8 and #11, the board
expects to be able to announce the name of a new managing director shortly. 

At the same time Mr Carsten Meier has been elected to the board of directors of
both of the daughter companies of Aresa A/S, Aresa Biodetection ApS and Aresa
Biopharma ApS. The appointments were made following extra ordinary general
meetings in both of the companies. The boards of both of the daughter companies
appointed Ole Andersen as chairman replacing Jarne Elleholm, who has resigned
from both duties. 

The content of this message is not expected to have impact on the result for
the current financial year.
