NCC to extend ICA Maxi in Skövde for SEK 180 million

NCC Construction has been commissioned to extend the ICA Maxi hypermarket in
Skövde. The assignment is worth SEK 180 million and was ordered by AB Skövde
Köpmannen 2, which is owned by Eurocommercial Properties Sweden AB. The new
shopping complex is scheduled for completion during autumn 2008.

As a result of the project, which is currently being initiated at the Norrmalm
retail park in Skövde, retail space at ICA Maxi will be expanded by
approximately 10,000 square meters. In addition to an expansion of the Maxi
hypermarket by 2,500 square meters, the extension will encompass five new retail
premises.

“Shopping space in Skövde is currently being expanded at a considerable pace,
which is leading to more retail activity and increased numbers of job
opportunities. In October 2006, we completed the Commerce shopping center and
construction of a new Netto supermarket will commence during the autumn,” says
Mikael Nykvist, Business Manager at NCC Construction in Skövde.

An average of 50 people will be employed in the retail project during the
construction period.

The project will be registered among NCC orders during the third quarter of
2007.
