Component Changes Made to Dow Jones Select Dividend Indexes


NEW YORK, Aug. 15, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Dow Jones Indexes, a leading global index provider, today announced component changes in the Dow Jones EPAC (Europe, Pacific, Asia and Canada) Select Dividend 100 Index, Dow Jones Australia Select Dividend 30 Index and the Dow Jones Asia/Pacific Select Dividend 30 Index.

Alinta Ltd. (Australia, AAN.AU) will be deleted from the three indexes due to its acquisition by a consortium including Babcock & Brown Ltd.

TeliaSonera AB (Sweden, TLSN.SK) will replace Alinta Ltd. in the Dow Jones EPAC Select Dividend 100 Index.

Timbercorp Ltd. (Australia, TIM.AU) will replace Alinta Ltd. in the Dow Jones Australia Select Dividend 30 Index.

Singapore Petroleum Co. Ltd. (Singapore, S99.SG) will replace Alinta Ltd. in the Dow Jones Asia/Pacific Select Dividend 30 Index.

The changes in the Dow Jones EPAC Select Dividend 100, Dow Jones Australia Select Dividend 30 and the Dow Jones Asia/Pacific Select Dividend 30 indexes will be effective before the open of trading on Monday, August 20, 2007.
