OMX enters partner discussion for networks and data centers

OMX, the leading expert in the exchange industry, today announced plans to
outsource its external network operations and data center management. A
dedicated supplier for network operations and data center management will
strengthen OMX's ability to grow internationally with a full service offering.

After evaluating offers from a number of possible suppliers OMX has decided to
enter into negotiations with Verizon.

“OMX will continue to be the prime contractor and offer a wide range of IT
services to exchanges, clearing organizations and CSDs worldwide. We are
determined and sure that existing customers will benefit from this partnership
on a global basis”, says Markus Gerdien, President, Market Technology, OMX.

No binding commitments have been made by either party and OMX's outsourcing
plans are subject to negotiation of a final agreement. Financial details will be
disclosed when a final agreement has been reached.
