Robert P. Magyar Joins WorldWater & Solar Technologies Corp. as Senior Vice President of Sales


PENNINGTON, N.J., Aug. 16, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- WorldWater & Solar Technologies Corp. (OTCBB:WWAT) (formerly WorldWater & Power Corp.), developer and marketer of proprietary high-power solar systems announced today that Robert P. Magyar has joined the Company as Senior Vice President of Sales. Magyar was most recently President of Sentry Power Technology of Newark, Delaware and Business Development Consultant for BP Solar. He brings WorldWater over 25-years of executive sales management experience at leading American manufacturers of electric, plumbing and solar products where he negotiated and secured national accounts ranging up to $200 million annually.

Prior to co-founding Sentry Power Technology, Magyar was a consultant to BP Solar and earlier held respective positions as Director, Residential Solar Program for Astropower Inc.; VP Sales at American Standard; Marketing Manager at Hubbell, Inc.; Regional Manager and later Marketing Manager for GTE's Electrical Equipment Group. Magyar holds several U.S. patents for his electrical and plumbing inventions. He is a graduate of the State University of New York, Binghamton and did postgraduate work at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
