Northrop Grumman, EADS and Georgia Suppliers Directly Contribute More Than $180 Million to Georgia's Economy Annually
A KC-30 Win Will Result in a Total Economic Impact Increasing to $440 Million Annually
MELBOURNE, Fla., Aug. 22, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Northrop Grumman Corporation's (NYSE:NOC) KC-30 Tanker team will support more than 4,200 direct and indirect jobs throughout Georgia if the KC-30 Tanker aircraft is selected by the U.S. Air Force. The KC-30 program will generate an additional $11 million annually in economic growth in Georgia, bringing the team's total direct and indirect economic impact to $440 million annually.

Northrop Grumman and its Georgia-based suppliers currently employ 2,000 workers statewide with an annual, direct economic impact exceeding $180 million. Northrop Grumman's current workforce injects more than $88 million into Georgia's economy each year.
Northrop Grumman's KC-30 Tanker supply base in Georgia will include:

* Parker Hannifin, Dublin, Ga. - Servo Valves
* RCF Seals, Vidalia, Ga. - Engine Sub-Assemblies
* TIG Hitco, Atlanta, Ga. - Engine Sub-Assemblies
* Millennium Solutions, Chamblee, Ga. - Aircraft Components
The KC-30 Tanker aircraft will be assembled in Mobile, Ala., and the KC-30 team will employ 25,000 American workers at 230 U.S. companies. It will be built by a world-class industrial team led by Northrop Grumman, and includes EADS North America, General Electric Aviation and Sargent Fletcher.
