Mashed sweet potatoes are an expansion of the popular Bob Evans line of mashed potato dishes, which includes original, garlic, sour cream & chive, Texas and cheddar varieties. With five servings per package, the suggested retail price for the mashed sweet potatoes is $3.09 to $3.39. "Bob Evans potatoes continue to be the #1 brand of refrigerated mashed potatoes, both in Bob Evans markets and in the country, and we expect mashed sweet potatoes to be a successful addition to this line," said Bob Evans Farms Executive Vice President of Food Products Mike Townsley. Maple biscuit sausage sandwiches feature four maple-flavored biscuits with Bob Evans original sausage patties in every package. With a suggested retail price of $3.69 to $3.99, they are ready to eat from the microwave in just 45 seconds from the refrigerator or in 70 seconds if frozen.
"Pigs in a Blanket," or smoked sausage with cheese wrapped in dough, are ready in just 20 seconds when refrigerated and 45 seconds when frozen. Sold eight per package, the suggested retail price is $5.99 to $6.69. A favorite specialty item found in bakeries and shops, the product can be eaten for breakfast, as a main dish or as a quick snack. "Bob Evans has made Pigs in a Blanket convenient, so families can enjoy them in just seconds," said Townsley.
