Delve Into the Conscious Mass of Your Thoughts, Feelings, and Experiences -- Author Rachel Ford Weaves a One-of-kind Collection of Poetry That Explores Every Aspect of Life That Defines Us

PHILADELPHIA, Aug. 24, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Rachel Ford reveals her point of view of life and reality in an amazing anthology of poems, Conscious Mass: MENTAL AWARENESS. Through her poetry, she reveals the importance of self-attentiveness and being truthful with yourself, allowing your mind to be aware.

The title Conscious Mass derives from Ford's thoughts, opinions, and life experiences, which she feels others can relate to and understand. It is a point of view written with compassion, simplicity and an open mind in a manner that can be easily absorbed by readers. Conscious Mass is what reality is to her, but more than a book of poems; it is the fulfillment of a dream. Ford hopes it will encourage others to go after their dreams and not let them die.

About the Author

My name is Rachel Diane Ford, born in Greenville, South Carolina on September 7, 1953. My parents moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania when I was 2 years old. I am the third of seven children and a proud single parent of a son and daughter. I graduated in 1971 from William Penn High School and later attended Community College, majoring in Accounting. In 1999, I took a course at Temple University for practical writing. I realized my love for writing in 1999. I began sharing my thoughts and my motivation accelerated, but working full time hindered me. However, to my amazement in 2003, I did a name writing for a very dear friend and realized my blessings extended. Doing name writings is also a passion of mine that I intend to pursue. My family and friends continually encourage and support me and my dream to publish a book of Poetry.
