Rautaruukki Oyj Press Release August 27 2007 at 13.30 RAUTARUUKKI AND WÄRTSILÄ SIGN AGREEMENT ON GLOBAL COMPONENT DELIVERIES Ruukki and Wärtsilä have finalised an agreement on global deliveries of common base frames and oil sumps. Ruukki is to supply the common base frames and oil sumps used in ships and power plants to Wärtsilä in Italy, China and Finland. The agreement will double the volume of common base frames and oil sumps Ruukki delivers to Finland and deliveries to Italy and China will also increase. Ruukki is Wärtsilä's main supplier of common base frames and oil sumps. Additionally, Ruukki supplies Wärtsilä with flywheels and crankshaft counterweights. Wärtsilä supplies propulsion systems for all types of marine and offshore applications and a provider of power plants in the decentralised energy market.
