Today, Estonian Competition Board approved the acquisition by AS Ekspress Grupp of OÜ Interinfo Baltic, the mother company of AS Delfi. AS Ekspress Grupp signed an agreement on 2 August 2007 to buy OÜ Interinfo Baltic for 846 million kroons taking 100% control over AS Delfi (Estonia), AS Delfi (Latvia) and UAB Delfi (Lithuania). AS Delfi with its subsidiaries is operating 7 internet portals: Estonian- and Russian-language portal in Estonia (http://www.delfi.ee, rus.delfi.ee); Latvian and Russian-language portal in Latvia (http://www.delfi.lv, rus.delfi.lv), two portals in Lithuania (http://www.delfi.lt, http://www.centras.lt) and a news portal in Ukraine (http://www.delfi.ua).
